it was a warm happy wednesday

I wonder hmm.

It's been 3 days since my holidays started and I already feel 10 pounds heavier for sitting down most of the time.

However strangely despite my being a glutton and lazy ass these few days, the weighing machine tells me otherwise. Heh.

But that was this morning. Now that I had a heavy lunch I feel much bloated.

Sad.

Yesterday was basically another lazy day. I was supposed to go buy a colour dye then go dye my hair kan, but unfortunately the colour I wanted was out of stock. Bummed around til evening then met up with my form 5 mates for a small yc session. (Pics here) After that it was to Sunway for Transformers!

It was raining the whole night. So weird that it has to happen on a night when I had to drive all the way to Sunway Pyramid alone for a midnight movie. BTW thanks SL for the free ticket!

How was the movie? Well I basically read up on American reviews in the afternoon and unfortunately I had yet to come across a good review, so I actually went in the cinema with low expectations.

Low expectations = not much disappointment.

Lame jokes and unbelievable scenes (like, a guy got tased and immediately recovered in like 5 secs wth) aside, I wish that there was more focus on the good robots like in the first movie than on the bad robots speaking English and arguing senselessly with each other.

Also, the focus on making Megan Fox a sex symbol (just because they know she is, and she can!) is so obvious that I can't help but roll my eyes the minute she first appeared. Watch the movie and you'll know what I mean.

And can you please give Josh Duhamel more screen time?

Let me tell you what annoys me about the movie. The two mini short and stumpy twin Autobots aka Smart Cars, the fakeness in which this (originally) (minor) Decepticon character transferred his allegiance to Mikaela, the good people, Mikaela just because it thinks she is hot, and Mikaela looking oh-so-good in the end of the movie even after all the rolling-on-the-ground-being-thrown-here-and-there...

OK I'm not saying that I'm jealous or what, it's just that how come she still has time to put on lip gloss even when she's on the run from the evil robots?

And on a non-movie related complaint - how come she has such gorgeous grey eyes when I have ordinary ones?

*note to self* Need to find out what brand of fake lashes she uses.

Ok ok back to the movie. I also wonder about the anorexic human-Decepticon machine - if they're so advanced why can't the Decepticons use more of these machines to infiltrate into the human government and find out more about the Autobots and stuff?

But of course there are good things about the movie which I liked. There is the excellent CGI (as compared to Blood, every other movie's CGI is definately better) and the whoa soundtracks which I'm definately downloading getting.

And of course, Josh Duhamel.
