yellow cab pizza co. review

The other day we were craving for some pizza. Initially our plan was to go to Pizza Hut, but when we got out of the car we faced this attractive yellow restaurant. We then decided to experiment with something different (seeing as this was just right in front of us and Pizza Hut was quite a walk away). Thus we made our first step into Yellow Cab Pizza Co.

It has a somewhat similar concept to Domino’s: not much space for you to sit and eat but more specifically for takeaways.

I like the simple New York-ish designs and the bright yellow which dominates the space.

Clean, simple and attractive designs, check. But most importantly though, what about the pizzas?

Priced between RM19.00 and RM69, their choice fillings are typical and quite similar to other Malaysian pizza outlets that I have been to.

Such as ‘New York’s Finest’ (RM41.90, 14”).

Of course we tried their specialty; the Four Seasons pizza (RM44.70, 14”). Personally I think that the overall pizza especially the anchovies part were too salty.

Dad couldn’t resist ordering takeaway the gigantic mushroom calzone! (RM20+, if I’m not mistaken)

It’s the size of a 14” pizza folded half.

I reheated it up in the oven that night. Looks very good doesn’t it?

I think you should better eat it freshly baked though, hmm.

Nothing special, unfortunately. Big portions but pricey and very salty. Kudos to the friendly service though wink
